Everybody's Trying to Feed Me

Saturday -
Saturday is a half-day of school in India. Debbie and I spent the morning helping teach again.
After lunch, Ronny took us into Penukonda. Our first destination was a mosque primarily devoted to Baba Fakruddin and is an important site for Fakir's, with Fakir's coming from all around the globe to visit. Although only Ronny and I, as men were allowed to enter and view the shrine.

The mosque was filled with such friendly people, with many people around the streets attempting to talk to us. In the mosque I was invited to eat with a large group of people, however due to time constrictions we did not have time.

On the way back, it was quite amusing as we were followed by some children and some beggars. Once we got to the car, a woman begging saw the children excitedly asking me for photos. She stopped begging for money and just started asking for a photo of her and her child.

After the Baba Mosque, we drove to the base of a slightly smaller hill than the Penukonda hill. We hiked to the top on precariously sturdy placed rocks to a fort and small temple on the top of the hill. The climb to the peak of the fort felt like some low grade free climbing.
Apparently, all the huge stones brought to the top of the hill were brought by elephants, something which amazed me as the hill was incredibly steep.
On the way down, I scaled a large out of the way rock and ended up finding not only an amazing view, but a beautiful and relatively elaborate carving into the rock. By the wear of the engraving, I would presume it has been there since the days the fort was constructed.
After climbing back down, we stopped by some stores in Penukonda.
While Ronny and Debbie went into the supermarket, while I had to stay with the car due to the goods in the back. While waiting, a woman with presumably her 2 grandchildren stopped by, who could have easily been confused (and did) for a beggar. There was a considerable language barrier, but we tried talking anyway. We were in a rush to get home before dark, so I hastily said goodbye to the woman and two children as Ronny and Debbie jumped in the car.
