Thursday -
The second day, Debbie, Sherrie and I went to Lal Bagh Gardens, a renown botanical gardens. It had such beautiful rock formations, with a temple situated on the largest rock there.
We were greeted by beautiful avian kites, which seemed so large and commanding that they could be mistaken for eagles.

We were less tourists and more commodities, as everybody wanted to have their photo taken with us.

Cleanliness is Next to Garden-ness |
When walking around the gardens, it seemed that the beauty of the garden failed in comparison to the squirrels, as the others could not take their eyes (or cameras) off them! However we were all in awe of a giant tree we saw, which must have been hundreds of years old. We also watched as some men fish in the lake in circular boats.

Saffron Chia is Compareable to Fine Jewlery |
All three of us then caught a tuk tuk back to commercial road to see Baba and Shakeel for Safron tea, as well as shop for mosquito nets. Although it ended up with us once again chatting for hours before purchasing some pashmina scarves and an exorbitant labradorite moonstone ring for myself. I only intend to wear it in Australia, so everybody can tell how affluent i am...

Baba took us to a good restaurant to eat and it was definitely delicious. He then took us looking for a store which sold the clothes we were hunting for. Debbie and Sherrie both got custom tailored Punjabi dresses, to be picked up the next day. I got some Kurta's and a Pajama as well.

We chated at Baba's for a while longer before we returned home to eat at Udupas Veg restaurant.
